Desiree Fernandez

Desiree Fernandez is an artist, graphic designer, and design consultant. She attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and the Atelier in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When she's not busy designing she enjoys gardening, thrift store shopping and making brunch. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Statement from the Artist

The social reformer Charles H. Parkhurst once said, "Home interprets heaven." If that's true, then welcome to dog heaven! I wanted to create a dog house that is a literal slice of heaven for a dog — and here it is. Roofed with bacon and lined with ham, this house is a celestial palace for any dog who has ever enjoyed the taste of meat.
