Statement from the Artist

I think when people think of poodles they generally picture a fancy breed.  Often times poodles are represented as being an "upper class" dog, surrounded by extravagant things and having lavish tastes.  Imagine being a poodle, with such desires for the finer things in life, but having no home or family to adorn you with those items.  A poodle down on her luck, may have to succumb to a life of piracy to attain all that she desires in life.
