Statement from the Artist

I believe that the art of dog is a fine art, one to be celebrated, enjoyed, and appreciated.  In honor of the unique beauty and intelligence of all animals, I’ve created the MoMDA.  That is, the Museum of Modern Dog Art.  Inspiration for this house comes from the MoMA (a world renowned art gallery in New York, NY), but this one is even better because it’s all about dogs!

This is a space for dogs to relax and contemplate the finer things in life.  Because I truly believe that animals recognize beauty, the inside of the house is decorated as a miniature art gallery complete with framed artwork (doggie style, of course). The exterior is embellished with artwork that I’ve completed within the past year and incorporated into a museum-esque architectural design. The house even features two local celebrity dogs: Mel and Parker of Fox 9 News!  This is a house for dogs with a refined sense of taste, a dash of sophistication, and an appreciation for art!  Enjoy!
